Sharing Creativity 101

Aprils Creativity 101 Class produced some lovely results with everyone putting their own twist on their finished project. Here are just two.
The first is from Michelle

Michelle chose to use Pink as her main colour and it worked really well.



Beautiful work and the pictures work really well.
The second is made by Geraldine.












I love the colours in this one as well and the cut out photos work really well.

Cards to share

We had fun at the last card class with everyone finding out just how time consuming it can be die cutting a Hydrangea flower head. There were a few mutterings but over all most people achieved it.

Here is the finished card and my favourite of the day.

 

Each of the tiny flowers were stuck onto a base shape to make the flower.

And then there were four more cards to have a go at making.

The owl card and the bicycle card counted as one.

Don’t forget, if you want to come along and make some cards the classes now run twice a month, once on a Wednesday and once on a Thursday (times vary).

Mini Book

For my final piece I made a simple Mini Book to show off the beautiful Hydrangea stamps and the rest of my paper pad.

I will be making this type of Mini Book as an online class so that you can make it using papers you have at home. Keep checking back for more details.

Free Scrapbook Layout

As promised yesterday here is my second layout. This is now a free class to members of the Ladies That Craft club, just click the green button on the left to see all of the step by step instructions and pictures.

A simple layout

I got to the semi finals of the Heartfelt Creations Contest and had to make two layouts for the final.

I wanted to use their stamps and dies as simply as possible. Here is the first made using one of their paper pads, stamp sets and coordinating flower dies.

I loved the flower dies and the stamps that coordinated with them.

If you like this you can also make this same layout using plain black cardstock. The result will look like this.

Congratulations to the final 10 who got into the Design Team. You are a bunch of talented ladies.
