And while we were all in class and everyone was doing their layouts I thought I’d make just one more from the papers I had left.
As most of you know, I love white space and it’s usually the simplest layouts that are the best.

Here Comes Summer

I think that this photo was taken on a Treasure Hunt many moons ago. It was a great day and obviously the sun was out so it was the perfect choice for these papers.
So Layout Six (yes nearly there) is

By The Sea

The shells were coloured in using Distress Ink Pads and the wooden posts were made out of brown cardstock, Distress Ink and a bit of cutting and shading.

Love the Mover and Shaper Camera. Its amazing what a silver pen can do. xx

I Love My Cats

Sometimes fussy papers just need something simple and this layout was just that. I made it with a simple pocket so that I could store some of my many cat photos in my Scrapbook.

I made all of the 3d embellishments for this class using paper clay and moulds. It took a while but I really enjoyed it. xx

You Are My Sunshine

Using A4 photos is always fun and once more gave me the chance to do some stamping on the photo.
Black and white photos always work well for this and if there is some blank areas, so much the better.

Relax and Enjoy

One of the great things about the Limited Edition Classes is that because it’s a bumper kit I get to mix and match different papers.
This kit had both Seaside and Garden papers meaning I could use different sorts of photos.

The last of the six layouts

The wording on this is really difficult to photograph as it is heat embossed in gold.
This is the only one of the six  that I feel is still unfinished but as yet I can’t work out what needs to be added to finish it.

Each panel was made separately using some of the stickers and lace in the kit.

Five of Six Layouts

Nearly there. Here is the fifth Layout from the Limited Edition Kit Class in March using Prima's Stationers Desk range.



Nice and simple this one however I did find that I didn’t have enough red flowers so I coloured some of the other ones using a Promarker.



And at last I am able to release the kit.

The kit for the Limited Edition includes the following:
Stationers Desk 12 x 12 Collection Kit (which includes 16 collection papers; 1 type and tab sticker sheet; 1 Journaling Spot Sticker sheet; 2 ATC card sheets), 1 x Kraft Core cardstock, 1 x white cardstock, bag of mixed Prima Flowers and leaves, bag of lace and die cuts, bag of molded shapes including frames and birds, Paste for stencilling, Buttons and gems and full instructions to make 6 layouts.

Four of Six

nearly there. This layout was taken from an idea that i originally saw on Pinterest a few months ago.

It was a great opportunity to get the heat gun and embossing powder out again

I really love these papers. xx

Three of Six

and nearly half way there. 
This time I used a few of the memory Box dies and a  Memory stamp I bought 2nd hand online but fell in love with.


In this kit I did include some lovely little trinkets including this bird, which i made using clay and my molds. They are so easy to make and you can colour them in using Marker Pens, paint or anything really.

Made because I happened across a tiny dragonfly punch which i NEEDED to use.

The “LOVELY” was done using a new Prima Stencil and Glossy Accents with a smidgen of Glamour Dust.

The First of Six

A Limited Edition Class means a great kit and loads of scrummy layouts to use as ideas, a sort of jumping off point showing everyone how the papers in the kit can be used.
Sometime you can see a range of papers and fall in love with them but have no idea how to use them because they are heavily patterned or have a very bold colour way. My job is to use the Class Kit to give inspiration and hope that it helps everyone to get started and have a great day.
Over the next few days I will share all  of the layouts but first here is a picture of the kit each person received.

Available on the day were brads, charms, gems, buttons and additional flowers and lace as required. Paper was also provided for die cuts which were cut out by each class member.
Layout One – Perfect




I now have kits available to make the 6 layouts. Everything including die-cuts are included however you will need to use your own stencils, stamps and ink pads. Full instructions are also included along with free membership worth £6.50, to the Ladies That Craft club. The launch date for this kit is Friday 28th March 2014.

I’ve been busy

The old creative juices have been flowing helped mostly by the new papers from Prima.

I have discovered the new Polaroid function in Picasa. It’s great for creating small photos.
