Make a Wish

Today I thought I'd share a card I made for the DoCrafts Project Design Team using one of the fantastic downloads called Make a Wish.

There are nine beautiful pages to this download which you can find at www.docrafts.com and they include the sentiments as well.

More turquoise

A great colour card deserved to be used again so this simple little card fitted the bill nicely.

Notice the nifty border again. I can see this one in lots of different colours in a card gift box.

Sunflower Card

I absolutely love this little sunflower stamp and after using it on a layout a few weeks ago, I decided I needed to make a card with it.

Great Sizzix border dies to. Will definitely be making use of them in later projects. x

Old Fashioned Birthday

Sometime you need an old fashioned card for someone special so I tried this one out with a modern twist.

No traditional flowers this time lol.

Flower Cards

well it was really hot yesterday even with all of the doors and windows open, so everyone did really well to make these two cards.
I’ve been wanting to make a box card ever since I saw one on Pinterest about a year ago so as it was the last card class before summer break I thought I’d give it a go.

This is great as a quick birthday card and although I used a stamp for the flowers, any flower punch would also do .Don’t forget, if you are free tomorrow afternoon I have a stand at Rainham Girls School (see previous post for details) and it would be lovely to see you xx

Three Cards

A bit slow in uploading onto the blog for the last week or so promise to do better over the coming weeks.
Thursdays class was great and everyone finished their three cards so that's always good. It was only when I got home that I realised that I hadn’t taken any photos mainly because everyone kept telling me to “sit down” lol.

The next class in June is now sold out but if you fancy joining me for a card class there are two available in July.
I am also now taking private bookings for Christmas Card Classes starting in September. These are available to groups of 10 or more at a venue of your choice. I have limited dates so please don’t leave it to late.

Three Cards

I love the card classes. Everyone beavers away to get their cards finished and it is great fun seeing everyone's faces as I show what they are going to make.
Here are the three from Wednesdays class.
The first is made using a Memory box Die

The second using a Tim Holtz strip die

And the third using an IO die and a Martha Stewart punch.




The next card class on Wednesday May 7th will include a Wedding Card. “At last” I here you say.

Todays Class

went far too quickly as usual.
My first share is not the cards we made today but two lovely cards made by Gloria using an idea we tried in class a few weeks ago.

I also found out today that recycling can be taken just that step further. its amazing what you can do with a hanger and a small bag. Here is the newest waste paper collector coming to your home soon lol.

Well I was impressed and it certainly brought a smile to everyones faces as did the mess we a managed to make.

Spring card

We'll the sun is out at last so I thought something bright and cheery was in order for Wednesdays Card Class.

Here are the three cards we made. Sorry if the picture is not up to the usual quality but still struggling to edit photos on the iPad and no sign as yet, of the computer.

I am going to try to take some photos and update the blog with the latest layouts and kits tomorrow using the iPad. Wish me luck lol xx

Thursdays Card Class

went so quickly. Here are the three cards we made

First card used Little Claires Elephant stamp. So cute and would be great for a baby card.

Next the Garden Bench card using Elizabeth Craft Designs die 780 from Karen Burnistons new collection.

I think nearly everyone managed to finish all three this time so well done ladies.

With all the rain and dark clouds I thought I needed a boost so I decided to make some bright Spring cards for yesterdays card class.

Can’t believe I missed these

I’ve been sorting out all of the cards I made for card class in 2013 and found these two which I don’t think I shared.

These two were really easy but two of my favourites.
The tree is still up because I can’t bear to take it down just yet. It makes the room look so warm and cosy. I’ll tackle it on Saturday.
The boys have had a great day too. No not the human ones but these two.

H will definitely miss the tree.

and T hates the rain so has spent all day sprawled on the settee. Think I’ll come back as a cat.
Just made up the last of the kits (only 2 left) and embellishment bundles (only 4 left). Thank you to everyone who ordered. The last of the kits goes out tomorrow morning so watch out for the postie.
Oh well time to pack away and get the new bits out. I’ve got four cards to make for next weeks class. Looking forward to seeing everyone again xx

Card Class

We had a great time on Thursday last week making cards for Christmas and Birthday. There were 8 cards in all to choose from and most ladies made four.

All of these cards are now available in kit form and if you want to have a play you will receive 4 cards in your kit along with access to the classroom where you will find full instructions, pictures and videos to help you make them.
