Tag Box for SamanthaK DT

I have got so many projects to share with you which I have made for SamanthaK's Design Team that I don't know where to start so I am going back to the tail end of last year when I made this lovely Tag Box
The whole thing is made using this set from SamanthaK's MDF
which was sold on Hochandatv. I don't think this kit is available at present but you can still buy the boxes HERE
The whole box was covered with soft sage green and grey papers and then decorated using painted MDF Herbs and a small amount of lace around the bottom.
I made some card tags out of purple cardstock and placed them in the slots on the top of the box.
Such a pretty gift for family or friends. One of my favourite collections.

Baby Tag

I love MDF because it is so easy to decorate and doesn't go soggy when you add mediums and sprays to it. I have been meaning to make this for ages and finally got round to it yesterday.
The flowers are from Prima and the circle frame is from Samantha K. The little wooden letters are by DoCraft and although they are self adhesive I did add some gel medium as well to make them more permanent.

I also added little gems to the flowers to act as dewdrops.
This last photo shows you the texture on the tag and that cute little organza bow. So many new things to share. Exciting xx

Spread Your Wings

I'm finding that I am getting less and less time to create for myself so I have started making more tags. It means I have time to completely finish something instead of keep coming back when I have a moment and they are great to use in journals, on projects and to send out to my crafty friends.
At the minute I am experimenting with paper straws and trying to make use of all of the lovely paints I have sitting on the side.
The background is made from tags and texture paste
and the butterfly is acetate painted with Finnabairs Art Alchemy paints. Enjoyed making this one. x
