Wedding photos

It's my nieces wedding this year and we are all very excited. As its so close I have been saving bits and pieces to make a few wedding pages when I get some photos and as I was clearing out the lace box of all things, I came across this photo of my mum with her father, my grandfather, on her wedding day. So it goes without saying, I had to make a page which I used in class at the last Scrapping Your Family class

And the detail

I think I'm going to enjoy making wedding layouts lol.
I will replace these photos with better ones later today when the suns out properly.
More tomorrow xxx

One for your holiday list

I rarely post about holidays on my blog but I have just got to share this just in case anyone is going on holiday anywhere near Provence.

If you are then take a trip to the Carrieres de Lumieres, a granite cave in a quarry, where you will find a most amazing experience.

Every year they feature work from famous artists and project it on the vast walls to awesome music. This year it is Michel-Ange, Leonardo De Vinci and Raphael.

Can honestly say it blew me away. The pictures don't do it justice and the video is really just a snapshot.

Here are a few of the photos I took.

And a very poor video sorry

And if you don't get to go this year then don't worry, they do this every year changing the artists every 12 months.
There you are gush over lol. Have a great day xxx

More turquoise

A great colour card deserved to be used again so this simple little card fitted the bill nicely.

Notice the nifty border again. I can see this one in lots of different colours in a card gift box.

Sunflower Card

I absolutely love this little sunflower stamp and after using it on a layout a few weeks ago, I decided I needed to make a card with it.

Just Smile

I love working with a white background and I haven’t done it for a while so I thought it would be good to include a white space layout in last Tuesdays Scrapbook Class.
