At the beginning of the year I decided I needed some me time….time to create and learn and improve my skills and knowledge.
I have admired Donna Downey for a long time so I decided to become a member of Inspiration Wednesday. I never realised it would be so much fun and although I have only managed to do one so far, I’ve already learned loads of new stuff.
Here is my first canvas
It still needs something but for now I am happy to look at it for a while until I decide what.
There is loads of layering
and I got soooo messy. Happy now.

Paper Posy
At the Crop a few weeks ago Marilyn showed everyone how to make paper flowers using a scalloped punch, Bazzill cardstock and a brad…..oh and a lot of patience lol.
So as everyone enjoyed making them so much I thought I’d make a layout using them.
And those flowers…. well I changed the brads for a sunburst and some Micro Beads but was really pleased with the result.
More tomorrow. xx

Creativity 101
and as usual there was lots of messy fingers involved. It never ceases to amaze me how mucky we all get in just a short space of time.
The aim of this class was to build layer and to use as many different paint mediums as we could.
Firstly here is the project I made as an example
and a bit of a close up
and then, with a bit of explanation they were let loose to choose colours and decide what they were going to use on their own work.
It was no surprise that everyone chose different colours and stencils. Here are a few of the nearly finished projects.
These are just a few of the nearly finished projects.Looking forward to seeing everyone else’s finished projects.
I have started the reverse side of my case. Here is the work in progress
I hope that everyone enjoyed yesterday as much as I did. xxxx

Tomorrows Creativity Class
Hi ladies
I'm all packed up and ready to go. Even the project was finished in plenty of time.
Here are few things you might want to bring along if you have them:
Hot glue gun
Heat gun
Apron
That's it. I do have some but any extras will make the class go quicker lol.
I will be there from about 9am so come early if you want. The sooner we start the more time we'll have.
Looking forward to a great class.

Here are a few close-ups
Am definitely going to play some more this week and I might even do some filming so that you can play along. Watch this space lol.
