When Autumn Arrives

it’s time to start writing about Summer and it was great to get away from the glitter for a while.

The Travel Book class is the last of the summer projects at Scrapbook Sisters and to be honest, it was a struggle to find papers to use, but as usual Bo Bunny came up trumps. These lovely papers were great for all destinations and I chose to start a long overdue project – our honeymoon in Hong Kong, Bali and Singapore.

I only managed to get as far as Hong Kong but I’m sure I’ll add pages later on.

Here are just a few of the pages.

Phew………………………..

So busy this week that incorporated my DT card in with one of the cards for this mornings card class. The flowers took a while to cut out but it was worth it, and the thin strips of gold through the middle of the card were made using Glamour card which is newly arrived in the shop and cuts superbly.

004A little bit of crystal stickles finished it off and it turned out really well.

Craft table here I come. I foresee another late night. Thanks for looking.

Card Challenge Six

sorry I mean

Card Challenge Seven

and my favourite so far as I love my cats :)

For the background I punched a fish bone punch into a piece of paper and then used the hole as a mask.

The cats were stamped in a row and then I stamped and cut out three more cats, coloured them in using Distress Ink and a waterbrush, and then decoupaged them onto my original stamped image. Simples:)

001Off to work on my new Digi Stamps. Thanks for looking.

Ice & Snow

Every so often we make something that I really enjoy and this book was one of them. It was a joint venture with Karen making the beautiful book pages and me having the job of making the front and back covers. Together we designed  the front cover on paper and then it was my job to bling it up and make it sparkly.

Now you would think that I got off lightly but it was one of those projects I didn ‘t want to end and I’d still be playing now if we hadn’t had to teach the class last Saturday.

You can see some pictures including the inside of the book, on the Scrapbook Sisters Blog, but here are some close ups of the front cover.
