So popular
A few weeks ago Docraft sent me a whole load of Gorguss Girl stamps and papers and asked for some work to show on HSN.

A date for your diary
Just a quick reminder that I am now taking bookings for the Crop/Craft day on Saturday 27th February. As usual the day will start at 9.30am and finish at 4pm. Tickets are £10 and include entry, tea/coffee and cake all day.
You can bring along anything to do on the day like knitting, sewing, Scrapbooking, Cardmaking etc and it is a good opportunity to see what others are doing and have a good chat and catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
Please email ladiesthatcraft@live.co.uk to book your place or use the co tact button on the blog.

Working with fabric
Everyone needs a way to wind down and relax and for me, the hoarder of all things paper and stamps, I need something totally different. For some time now I have been working on a cloth book. I made it some time ago and now I am beginning to add the detail.
And now I am embroidering the details using embroidery threads
This is how it started.
I added some stamped images using Stazon ink

A Mans Card
Always so hard to make something different for a mans birthday so when I got my cog dies from Docraft I was really pleased.
I really enjoyed making it especially when it worked for the first time. Hereis the video of it working

I was asked to make a moving card which was something I don't do much of, so after much thinking, scratching my head and pacing, I came up with this cog card which was published in Issue 65 of the Creativity Magazine.

A little bit of improvisation
On Boxing Day we were invited to have dinner at my sisters'. The only thing she asked was that we wear Christmas tshirts so I bought one for me and of course forgot to buy one for My husband, Terry.
The problem was, I only remembered this on Boxing Day morning so "panic!!!!!!"
Luckily Terry had a black tshirt, so out came the stencils, fabric paint and felt and voila, one Christmas t-shirt.
The hat was glued on and then sewn on. The little white Pom Pom were from some braid I had lying around.
