So Layout Four is
And the detail
I made all of the 3d embellishments for this class using paper clay and moulds. It took a while but I really enjoyed it. xx
and this time there were several layouts finished that didn’t look like mine and that was so good to see. Thank you ladies for making my day.
Here are a few photos (you can see the rest on the Ladies That Craft Facebook page) of the day.
I will post all seven original layouts on the Blog over the coming days. Enjoy the sunshine xxx
as promised here are the three cards from yesterdays card class.
And individually
Really enjoyed making these.
UPDATE: For tonight's Scrapbook Class I have used two photos, one 4” x 6” landscape is a black and white war photo and one 5” x 7” portrait photo is a picture of Terry and our grand daughter although this layout is suitable for any photo.
See you later xxx
and it was a good one with everyone finishing all three cards.
Here are a few photos of the class in progress and I will post the finished cards tomorrow.
You can see more photos of this morning over on the ladies That Craft Facebook page. xx
Like almost every crafter I have so much “stuff”as my DH call it, that I really don’t need to try anything else. However, no don’t laugh, after sitting with Helen Chilton for an hour and watching her play with Gelato’s I was just itching to have a go.
Here is Helens finished example
And here is my first attempt at a background. Its not finished yet but I am amazed at what you can do with this medium.
and a close up of the texture
Did I buy some? Of course I did and I intend to have a play again soon.
And Helen, if you’re reading this, hairspray does work as a setting agent.
Enjoy the sunshine xx
Now I’m starting to feel better I am itching to get crafting again so todays the day.
To begin I wanted to enter the Less is More challenge with my favourite New Home card. The challenge this week is “More Than One Stamp”.
Keep watching for more updates as I am playing today. Yippee!!!
A few months ago I made a butterfly card for a card class and liked it so much I decided to use it on a layout as well. A butterfly punch is something that most people have so this technique is easy to do.
Here is the card that inspired the layout.
And here is the class layout made using a similar technique.
I have 6 kits for this and another layout. Details will go online soon.
Have a good evening xxx
