Our House

Everyone has got photos of their house, normally taken when we first viewed it and then “filed away”and forgotten. It took me 4 days to find the three little photos I used for this first layout but I was pleased I did.
Here is the first layout from last Tuesdays class. As you can see, I am still blown away by the lovely bright coloured papers available at the moment.

And the second layout was also made using bright colours although I dulled them down slightly by distressing with Black Soot and some stamping and stencilling around the edges.

I have loads of kits being made as we speak. They should be available in February so keep checking back.

Nice and Fresh

Firstly I know I do go on about the stamps from the Creative Stamping magazine but the current stamps with the issue are fabulous. I think I have used nearly all of them in one way or another this month so if you’re after stocking up on your stamps then go out an buy the magazine. And my reason for promoting this particular magazine is that I want it to continue and not go the way of so many others. Selfish I know but ……..lol.
Anyway back to my three cards. Here they are together

The second is an easel card made using one of my favourite Penny Black stamps

DoCrafts DT Blog Hop

I am loving all the bright paper colours at the moment. It cheers me up especially in winter when the light is yuk.

The lettering was printed off from WordArt in Word and then cut out (just in case you don’t have a fancy machine, this is a good way to add fonts to your layouts.
