Anything Goes

It’s Anything Goes over on the Scrapbook Sisters Blog and this week I’ve decided to use a Journal page as my DT example. This is my favourite thing, and what I tend to do if I have any me time which isn’t very often now a days.

And this one has been waiting to be finished for ages, I just don’t seem to have the right words to put on it.

I love simple cards

and this weeks card challenge at Scrapbook Sisters was a great chance to use one of my small journaling stamps

The butterflies are punched out using a Martha Stewart punch and I added the black bodies and lines around the wings by hand.

My first challenge layout

A few weeks ago I was chosen by Southern Girls Challenge to be one of their 2012 Design Team. My first theme was About the boys and as a scrapbooker I could do anything. Instead I plummed for a great Digi stamp kindly provided by one of the sponsors Delicious Doodles and made this layout.

The photos were taken on Greatstone beach in 2010 and were just right for the page.

A First Birthday Card

for our pretty Charlotte on her first birthday.

I don’t usually make cards, not because I don’t want to but because I never seem to have enough time. Last month however I had made a scrapbook page using a dress template and it was just perfect for Charlottes card.

I reduced the template to card size and made this

All of the papers were from one of the Tim Holtz pads left over from a class. I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I’d better start making a card for our Evie. Can’t do one without the other.xx
