Class Layout

Another good class on Tuesday. This time I included die cutting, stamping, colouring and good old fashioned embossing just to keep everyone busy.

Here is the first one

I’ll share the second one at a later date.

Have a great Easter. xx

Spotlight on Maria Dickson

This is a lovely card shared by Maria in class on Tuesday. Maria made this special card for her friend.
The detail is delightful
Maria also shared a layout she completed in class
Maria used glitter to make the layout pop. The photos do not do this layout justice.

and a layout done at home using her favourite bird stamp.

Thanks for sharing Maria. More from me tomorrow xx

Past projects

I’ve been asked to share some of the past projects taught in class so I’ve had a search and come up with a few.
The Nine Square Box
Wall Art
Oh Christmas tree
3D Frame
Stamped Canvas Bag
White Space is Good.
There are loads more including some rather large mini book projects so I will share them later this week.

Spotlight on Chris Neal

At last nights class some of you shared your layouts and other projects. Today I am featuring the work of Chris Neal who has a style of her own.
I loved the sewing on this one and the use of the little birds on a wire.
Chris’ second layout was lovely too.
Chris lost the original flowers we used in class so she made some of her own.
Thank you for sharing Chris. Tomorrow I will showcase more of the lovely projects shared.
Enjoy the sunshine xx

Time to share

Last year Suzanne Smart came to one of my classes along with her mum.
Suzanne has just sent me a photo of her finished project and lovely it is too.
Box 1
This is beautiful Suzanne. I am guessing that you are using it as a sewing box.
Here is a picture of the original box taught in class

Thank you for sharing. xx

Time To Share

Now that Mothers Day has gone I can share the card I made for my mum. She has always loved Fuchsias so you can imagine how please I was when Woodware came out with their new stamps and one of them was a Fuchsia.
The flowers and leaves are coloured and decoupaged making a lovely 3D flower.
Thank you to Jenny for helping me decide on the colour.
I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Artistic Inspiration - flowers,
Card Mania - Lots Of Layers
Songbird Challenge Blog - Mama I Love You
Addicted To Stamps - Bring On Spring (lots of flowers)
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - To Die For
If you would like to share your Mothers day Card as an inspiration to all us card makers then please add then to the link below.

Spotlight On

I love seeing classmates take one of my layouts and completely change it and one of the best at doing this is Chris Neal.
This beauty was made after class a few weeks ago.
I love the way she has used the paper design to make an embellishment. Isn’t he cute?
And the skyline looks amazing
You can see more of Chris’ work her BLOG.
Great layout Chris and thanks for sharing. x
