I had a fantastic day out

This was my very early Birthday present and something I wanted to do as soon as I saw it advertised.

I have been an avid Harry Potter fan since the books first came out and I still like watching the films from start to finish, so when the new Harry Potter experience opened in Leavesdon near Watford, I was on the website booking tickets straight away.

To be honest, you don’t have to be a Harry Potter fan to enjoy a day here as my Terry found out. There is plenty to do and you can take as many photos as you want, a refreshing change.

Here are a few snaps of the day from the 1080 photos I took.

You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this, just a kid at heart. xxx

This time to showcase all of the 8” x 8” layouts that we have done in class over the last two years.

A great Easter

The best way to spend Easter is with family. Thankfully Karen was cooking Easter dinner. If it had been my turn we would have had salad due to a rotten cold. (Great timing as usual) Still beechams powders came to the rescue for a few hours which was just time to enjoy some family time and eat a really large and scrummy dinner.

I am still doing the 365 photo challenge so here are a few photos from the day starting at home with that cake.

On the wall

For ages I have been trying to put some of my work on the walls but I have never found an idea I liked. That all changed today when I made this for a Stamping class. I can see this being one of my favourite projects.

I chose a lime green piece of paper and a lily white cardstock, lime green ribbon, cream seam binding and white lace, and came up with this.

Watch this space. I am going to have a go at another one this weekend.
